Spring Break Inspired by Carrie

Spring Break is upon UT.  We have one week until most of UT goes to either Destin or Panama.  Of course, I cannot prepare for a spring break trip without thinking about Sex and the City and the adventures the girls had in the Hamptons (ugh! jealous!).  So here is a list to remember when we are all on our vacations next week.

1. We all love tanning, but remember to wear sunscreen!  Red skin is so not cute.

2. Change up your swimsuit attire.  In the Twenty Something Girls vs. Thirty Something Women episode, Carrie wears swim trunks with her bikini top, and if you don't believe me, go watch it.  Super chic and you don't have to bear it all one day!

3. Stay away from guys that are sketch and and maybe not in your appropriate age range.  Who knows what you might pick up.

4. However, be open to meeting new people, you never know what could come from it.

5. Pack everything you might need, but be mindful of the space in your friend's trunk.

6. Try to keep it as classy as possible.  Get to a bathroom if you aren't feeling well.  The beach is not a toilet, unless you just ran into your ex with someone that is way younger than you.  Then it's acceptable.

7. Spring Break is your time to hang out with your friends and relax and let off a little steam.  It is not the time to acquire someone who is wanting you as their mentor.  Just tell them you will call them when you are back home.

8. Be the bigger person if you see your enemy, which is bound to happen since next week UT will basically be relocated to Destin or Panama.  Like Samantha helped the girl who took over her clients for the Hampton Hoedown, just be kind and everything works out in the end.

9. Look fabulous if you see your ex.  And plan to hate whatever girl he is with.

10. Make sure your friends are there for you when something goes wrong for you on the trip, like seeing your ex.  Of course be there for them as well.  Stick with your friends because they wouldn't be true friends if you weren't going on vacation with them!!

Most importantly, HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE!
